An event for our golf members and friends, start the New Year with a brush up on your rules knowledge.
Some of you may know Ashley, he was Golf Ops Manager/PGA Professional at Nizels a few years ago. He left Nizels to pursue a career as a Tournament Official and is now an R&A Level 4 Advanced Referee.
He is a member of the PGA Rules Panel and Lead Tournament Director. He has refereed on all the major tours, a highlight being the USPGA Championship and the Solheim Cup earlier this year.
Ashley is hosting a rules presentation evening for us at Nizels on Thursday 18th January. It will be golf rules based with a few scanarios and anicdotes from Ashley's time on tour. Every day's a school day, come along, you may pick up a few tips.
7.00pm - Start
8.15pm approx - Break for sandwiches and chips
9.30pm approx - Finish
Cost - £15.00 per person
Everyone is welcome, it doesn't matter if you have little rules knowledge or if you consider yourself quite efficient with the rules. I'm sure the evening will benefit us all.
